Welcome to our hospital!
If you and your four legged friend are new to us, here’s what you can expect in your first visit.
Cheerful Record Communication: Come in a few minutes early, and we’ll integrate any prior information on your pet. We’re happy to work with other clinics to find out what your pet needs. Our receptionists will make sure we understand your pet’s complete medical history.
Meet and Greet: One of our licensed veterinary technicians will show you into an exam room. Here we’ll get to know you and your pet. The technician will record things like heart rate, weight, and temperature for the doctor. Then it’s time to meet one of our friendly veterinarians.
Comprehensive Physical Exam: Our doctors take their time to listen to your pet’s needs. They will do a thorough nose-to-tail examination, being sensitive to your animal’s temperament and need for personal space.
Game Plan: After our doctors complete the physical exam, they will propose a treatment plan. This may include diagnostic testing, conditional treatment or preventative medicine. The Doctors will discuss your options with you to find a game plan that works for you and your pet.
Treatment: Our technicians and doctor will then implement the game plan you and the doctor decided on. This may include treatments from home monitoring to vaccines, hospitalization or surgery.
What to expect from other procedures:
Surgery: If your pet needs surgery, our technicians are dedicated to monitoring and assisting your pet throughout the day. All our surgery patients get an intravenous catheter and fluids for safety. We will update you during the day as your pet recovers from his or her procedure. Often, pets can come home the same day as surgery.
Euthanasia: We believe all pets are beloved companions who deserve humane treatment. We offer in-home euthanasia, private in-clinic euthanasia, and use Dignified Pet Services for cremation options. If you need help with quality of life questions or procedures, our caring doctors can help.
